When you first came to Hawaii, what food are you going to have to taste it? Of course my recommendation is Hawaii's unique Acai bowl!

Acai bowl's original name is Açaí na tigela which means "açaí in the bowl" is a typical Brazilian dish made of frozen and mashed açaí palm fruit. It is served as a smoothie in a bowl or glass, and is commonly topped with granola and banana, and then mixed with other fruits and guaraná syrup.

When this kind of food enters Hawaii, it instantly gains a lot of love. frozen and mashed açaí palm fruit bring people a refreshing taste. Granola and banana can provide people with satiety. Other fruits mix with guaraná syrup, sweet and sour taste make it delicious and healthy.

So now, let me lead you to explore our first destination----Banán!

Banán has three locations at: Diamond Head Food Truck ----3212 Monsarrat Ave. Honolulu, HI 96816. Waikiki Beach Shack----2301 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu, HI 96815. And the last one is where we go to the University Store which locate at 1810 University Ave Honolulu, HI 96822.

Banán original banana flavor literally just consists of local bananas with a splash of water! To flavor things up they also add in other fruits, veggies, and herbs. They seek to source most of ingredients locally and soft serve and toppings are blended and cut fresh everyday. The great thing is that customers have freedom to customize their own Acai bowl! Everyone can chose their favorite flavor with different toppings!
